Our coverage map
24/7 dispatch from ChesapeakeGold rings show approximate drive radius from our Chesapeake shop at 1720 Lambert Court. Every city marked is covered 24/7 — Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach inside the fast ring, with Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News and Williamsburg on the same emergency dispatch.
Chesapeake
Home city — crews roll from Lambert CourtOur shop is inside the city, so Chesapeake gets our fastest arrival. The high water table and vented crawlspaces here hold moisture long after the visible water is gone.
Areas covered: Great Bridge, Deep Creek, Western Branch, Greenbrier, Hickory and South Norfolk
- How fast do you reach a Chesapeake address?
- Typically under 45 minutes, and under 60 minutes citywide at any hour. We are based at Lambert Court, so there is no cross-water travel to slow the truck down.
- Do you cover all of Chesapeake?
- Yes — every neighborhood from Western Branch to Hickory, including the rural south end and commercial corridors along Battlefield and Greenbrier.
Virginia Beach
Minutes from the city line, dispatched from ChesapeakeCoastal humidity and slab-on-grade construction slow evaporation here, so equipment stays on until materials hit dry standard — not until the carpet feels dry.
Areas covered: Kempsville, Great Neck, Hilltop, Sandbridge, Red Mill and the Oceanfront
- Do you serve the Oceanfront and Sandbridge?
- Yes, including rental and vacation properties. We can coordinate access with a property manager and send documentation to an out-of-town owner.
- Is salt air a factor in Virginia Beach losses?
- It is. Higher ambient humidity means longer drying times and a real risk of secondary mold growth, so we run dehumidification aggressively and log daily readings rather than pulling equipment early.
Portsmouth
Across the Western Branch — a short run from our baseHistoric Portsmouth homes need careful, low-demolition drying so original millwork, floors and plaster survive the restoration instead of getting torn out.
Areas covered: Olde Towne, Churchland, Cradock, Port Norfolk, Westhaven and Simonsdale
- Can you dry a historic Olde Towne home without gutting it?
- That is the goal on every historic property. We use injection drying, cavity mats and targeted containment so plaster, original trim and heart-pine floors stay in place wherever moisture readings allow.
- How long does a Portsmouth response take?
- Usually 45 to 60 minutes. Bridge and tunnel traffic is the only variable, and we route around it — we are dispatching from Chesapeake, not from across the water.
Suffolk
Covered daily, including the rural north endMany Suffolk properties run on well and septic with long exposed plumbing runs, which turns a single failure into a large-loss event fast — often discovered hours later.
Areas covered: Harbour View, Driver, Nansemond, Whaleyville, Holland and Downtown Suffolk
- Do you go out to rural Suffolk and Whaleyville?
- Yes. There is no surcharge for distance inside our service area, and the rural north end is covered on the same 24/7 dispatch as everywhere else.
- My well pump failed and flooded the house — is that covered?
- Usually yes. A sudden mechanical failure of a pump, supply line or water heater is normally a covered peril, unlike rising groundwater. We document the source so the correct policy is billed.
Hampton
Peninsula coverage via the HRBT and Monitor-MerrimacLow-lying Hampton neighborhoods flood from tidal surge and heavy rain as often as from plumbing, so the first job is separating covered sudden losses from flood-policy losses before drying starts.
Areas covered: Phoebus, Fox Hill, Buckroe Beach, Wythe, Aberdeen and Langley
- How long does it take you to reach Hampton?
- Typically 45 to 75 minutes depending on tunnel conditions. We monitor HRBT and MMMBT traffic when dispatching and route around backups rather than sitting in them.
- Do you handle tidal and storm flooding in Buckroe or Fox Hill?
- We handle the cleanup, drying and rebuild either way. Coverage differs though — rising tidal water needs an NFIP or private flood policy, while a wind-driven roof leak or failed supply line is normally covered by your homeowners policy.
Newport News
Full Peninsula dispatch, residential and commercialNewport News runs from 1920s Hilton Village bungalows to modern Oyster Point commercial space, so the drying and rebuild approach changes block to block — historic plaster gets injection drying, not demolition.
Areas covered: Denbigh, Hilton Village, Port Warwick, City Center, Oyster Point and the Southeast Community
- Do you take commercial losses in Newport News?
- Yes — offices, retail, multifamily and light industrial. We work after hours to keep a business operating, run containment around occupied areas, and write the scope in Xactimate for the carrier.
- Can you dry a Hilton Village home without tearing out plaster?
- Usually. Injection drying and cavity mats let us pull moisture out of wall assemblies while keeping original plaster and trim intact, as long as the readings support it.
Williamsburg
Northern edge of our area — scheduled and emergency workOlder and historic Williamsburg properties, plus a heavy share of second homes and rentals, mean losses are often found days late — which is exactly when a water loss turns into a mold loss.
Areas covered: Colonial Williamsburg, Kingsmill, Ford's Colony, Toano, Lightfoot and upper James City County
- Is Williamsburg too far for an emergency call?
- No, but it is our longest run — plan on 60 to 90 minutes. If the property is unoccupied, we can coordinate access with a neighbor, property manager or lockbox so mitigation starts before you arrive.
- The leak in my rental went unnoticed for a week — what now?
- Assume mold and treat it as a combined water-and-mold project: containment first, then remove unsalvageable materials, dry to standard, and verify before rebuilding. We document the whole timeline for the claim.
Coverage, hours & billing
- What is your service area?
- 365 Restoration covers all of Hampton Roads from our Chesapeake shop — Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Norfolk on the Southside, plus Hampton, Newport News and Williamsburg on the Peninsula — with large-loss and commercial work reaching further on request.
- Are you actually available 24/7, or is that an answering service?
- A real person answers the phone at any hour, including nights, weekends and holidays. Whoever picks up can dispatch a crew — there is no callback queue between you and equipment on site.
- Do you charge more for after-hours or weekend emergencies?
- No emergency call-out premium for the initial response and mitigation start. After-hours labor is billed at the standard Xactimate rate your carrier already recognizes.
- Is the estimate free everywhere in the service area?
- Yes — inspection, moisture readings and a full line-item estimate are free in every city we serve, Southside and Peninsula alike, on insurance claims and private remodeling.
- Do you bill insurance in every city you serve?
- Yes. We are Xactimate certified and bill carriers direct regardless of which city the property is in. On a covered loss you generally pay only your deductible.
- Are you licensed to do the rebuild, not just the cleanup?
- Yes. We hold Virginia contractor license 2705138091 and are IICRC certified, so the same company that dries and cleans also pulls permits and rebuilds. 365 Restoration has operated out of 1720 Lambert Court, Unit I since 1995.
